How do I activate my Japan SIM card?

You can activate your SIM card as soon as you arrive in Japan. After inserting the SIM card into your device, it needs to be configured before you can use it.

Typically, you need to insert the SIM card into your smartphone or tablet, enter a PIN code, and configure your device's network settings. Please be aware that system maintenance occurs weekly, from 10pm on Tuesday to 9am on Wednesday (Japan time). Please activate your SIM card outside of the maintenance period.
