Can I buy a Child Welcome Suica?

We don’t sell the Child Welcome Suica card on our website, however it can be purchased in Japan.

Make sure that you have your child’s passport with you for verification purposes when purchasing. 

When purchasing a Child Welcome Suica card via a Welcome Suica card machine, you will be asked to enter the birth date of the child for whom the card is intended. Your child must be aged between 6 and 11 years old to be eligible.

Note that if you or your child are found to be using a Child Welcome Suica and are older than the specified child age range, you will be charged the full adult fare from your boarding station, plus a penalty that is two times the amount of the fare.
