Should I choose airport or hotel delivery?

Please choose the delivery option that best suits your needs.

Airport Delivery

This is a good option if you want the pocket wifi as soon as you arrive in Japan. You’ll need to provide us your flight details, and the wifi device can then be collected from a pick up counter after you have cleared immigration and customs. The counter location will be sent to you by email, and will depend on your flight arrival time and airport terminal, so please read your emails carefully. You will need your passport to collect it.

We can only offer pocket wifi collection from Haneda, Narita and Kansai International airports. If you will be arriving in Japan at any other airport, we suggest selecting hotel delivery instead.

Hotel Delivery

This is a good option if your flight will be arriving late, and you cannot collect the wifi at the airport counter. The wifi will be delivered to hotel staff, and you will be able to collect it from the hotel reception desk on the rental start date.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the name you provide when booking on our site is the same name you made your hotel reservation under, otherwise the hotel may refuse to accept the delivery.

Delivery to a house or apartment

The Japan postal service will not deliver items to someone whose name is not registered to a residential address.

So if you’ll be staying at a private residence (including AirBnB-type accommodation), you need to provide the homeowner’s name and phone number for successful delivery.

As this can be difficult to arrange, if you provide a rental apartment address when booking, our suppliers will ship the pocket wifi to the nearest post office to your accommodation instead. You will be able to pick it up from there by showing the post office staff your passport.
